German Food

 

               

Currrywurst is German traditional dish consisting of Pork sausage, cut in slices and flavor with ketchup “regularly consisting of ketchup or tomato paste blended with curry”. The discovery of Currywurst dish assign to Herta Heuwer in Berlin in 1949.

 


Sauerbraten is a German pot roast which can be prepared with different kind of meat, but usually prepared with beef. Before the meat is ready to be cooked it marinated for few days, in water, wine, or vinegar with spices.


Schwarzwalder Kirschtorte

Black Forest cake is the English name of the German dessert Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte. It consists of some layers of, chocolate cake, whipped cream, and cherries on the top.
